The wood does show signs of wear but in my opinion it gives it a good distressed look. It actually works. Please note. I did a very thorough research on these Uggs. They are the Kaylee Clog, not the Abbie Clog, which has a lower heel. These have a heel height of 4 inches. These were put out by Ugg in 2011-2012. I did try them on. And even though they were too big for me, they are extremely comfortable. The wool lining is great. Size 9.
